The Roloff family has been divided on Little People, Big World since Matt decided to sell part of the farm, and fans are tired of the stale drama.
The Roloff family has been in a self-described “Cold War,” and Little People, Big World fans are sick of hearing about it. The hit reality show has been on TV since 2006, and the Roloff’s, as well as viewers, have been through a lot throughout the 23 seasons. Matt and Amy Roloff’s divorce divided the family, but there is more division than ever now. Fans are all for family drama, but the Cold War talk has gotten out of hand.
With Little People, Big World season 24, many fans were excited to catch up with the Roloff family, but the first look left fans disappointed. The Roloff family has been feuding ever since patriarch Matt decided to sell 16 acres of Roloff Farms for $4 million. Married couple Zach and Tori Roloff thought Matt was going to leave the farm to the kids and have been furious with Matt ever since. A Reddit thread started by u/Leather-Cod-7397 shared viewers’ frustration with the show, saying, “95% of the storylines with the shows on TLC are just rehashed filler.”
Matt & Zach’s Feud Bores Little People, Big World Fans
They added this season has the same old drama as usual, with “Zach and his Father arguing over the property.” Matt’s drama with Zach and Tori lasted all through Little People, Big World season 23, and fans have had enough. The property drama has led to a war between Matt and his kids, with Amy somewhere in the middle. Some LPBW fans have called Zach petty for his behavior toward his dad and for choosing not to have a relationship with him over a plot of land. Others know how integral Roloff Farms is to the whole family, as it has been in the family for decades. Amy willingly gave up her shares of the farm, but Zach was not ready to relinquish his.
Little People, Big World season 24 also shows Zach and Tori welcoming baby Josiah Roloff. Josiah has unwittingly been part of the drama, as the new parents to baby number three have refused to let Matt meet their son. Many fans blame the fact that Zach is the only Roloff child appearing on the show regularly for the lack of interesting drama, as his other three siblings, such as Little People, Big World‘s Jeremy Roloff, have stopped appearing on the show over the years.
Though many fans are irritated by the direction Little People, Big World season 24 has taken, there are still some highlights that fans are looking forward to. One Reddit user said they “enjoy the Amy and Chris scenes,” adding that their relationship and the adorable Jackson Roloff is another reason to watch. Though there were rumors that Amy and her new husband, Chris Marek, had split up, they were quickly squashed by Amy, and the pair are happier than ever, hopefully bringing more entertaining moments to the show.
